Chain conveyor has the advantages of large conveying capacity,simple structure, easy maintenance, standardized components etc. According to different technical, it can be operated either in single unit or multiple unites. It can also be installed horizontally or slope to meet the need of different transfer lines. In order to fulfill the requirement of different production line, it can be connected with other conveying equipment constitute a standard or tilted conveyor system.
The chain conveyor is composed of five parts: head drive device, tail wheel device, tension device, chain plate and frame.
1.It is composed of electric motor, reducer, transmission device and active sprocket device. The power is transmitted to the main shaft by the driving device through a pair of sleeve roller sprockets, and then drives the groove plate to run. In order to meet the needs of different conveying speeds, the running speed of the groove plate can be changed by changing the gear ratio of the transmission sprocket. The driving sprocket device adopts two sprockets with 6 teeth to drive two piece traction chains and groove plates to run along the guide rail
2.The redirecting part of the chain plate consists of a tail wheel shaft, two tail wheels and bearings, etc.
3.The tensioning device adopts a spiral tensioning method to adjust the tightness of the traction chain
4.It consists of drag chain and plate groove. The traction chain adopts an impact-resistant, stable and reliable piece-type traction chain, with rollers installed in the middle of the inner chain pieces, rolling on the track to reduce frictional resistance and wear. The trough plate is fastened to the traction chain with bolts.
5.It is composed of head frame, tail frame and middle frame, which are welded by channel steel, angle steel and reinforced steel plate. There are four tracks in the middle of the rack for rollers to run, which is made of light rails.
