The general arrangement of the vacuum press and its ancillary equipment is similar to that of the ordinary press, but the direction of eccentricity is opposite to that of the ordinary press. However, the eccentric direction of the vacuum press is opposite to that of the ordinary press, i.e., the upper roll of the press is offset by 50-60mm relative to the lower roll in the direction of disposal. in order to exclude the moisture in the nip, the suction mouth of the vacuum box inside the vacuum roll must be directed towards the inlet side of the nip. Only in this way, so that the blanket and wet paper web first and vacuum roll contact, to realize the vacuum box suction mouth sealing effect, so as to avoid the outside air into the vacuum system. For this reason, the felt is generally horizontal downward direction into the press area, and then by the horizontal downward direction out of the press area, that is, the so-called low into the low out. 1.The main feature of the vacuum press roll is that there are many small-diameter holes in the roll shell, through the wall and body layer, the inner cavity of the roll shell to maintain a continuous vacuum at work. When the paper sheet and the blanket enter the nip between the pressure roller and the vacuum press roller, the water in the paper sheet is transferred to the blanket. When the blanket is saturated with water, under the action of vacuum suction, the water is discharged from the blanket into the through-hole, into the inner cavity of the roll shell, and then discharged.
2.The vacuum press roll can increase the dryness of the wet paper by about 2% and reduce the possibility of the wet paper being crushed, so that the wet paper has a higher moisture content before the press, or a higher line pressure is used in the press.
